About Orenco Photography Club

The Orenco Photography Club was created in the spring of 2011 by a small group of photography lovers in the community of Orenco Station in Hillsboro, OR. Our goal is to band together to help one another learn, improve, and collaborate on the topic of photography and to have fun.

Who Joins Orenco Photography Club (OPC)?

Members join to pursue their interest in photography and to improve their photography skills. Members come with different experience levels; some want to learn how to use their cameras and make better images, while others have photography experience and want feedback on their images.

The best way to see if  the Club is for you is to attend a few meetings where you can observe the usual activities and meet members in an informal way. As discussed below, the Club offers other features that can be instructive through our website and email communication.

What is it like being an OPC member?

Being a Club member is being part of a community of local photographers wanting to advance their photography skills, develop friendships and share their knowledge, images and ideas.

How do we communicate with Club members and coordinate events?

The Club uses the Google+ Community called ORENCO PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB to communicate among members. This is the place to go to find out about upcoming events, share images, ask questions and communicate with other members.

Interested in joining the Orenco Photography Club?

You can join the OPC Google+ Community to participate in some club events as a provisional member before becoming a dues paying member.  See Membership Information  about dues and moving from provisional to member status.
